Why did Coco Keys close?
CoCo Key closed in August 2015 after it failed health code inspections. It failed to reopen, and the Clock Tower Resort, which had changed ownership several times, closed in November 2016, a month after a birthday party there turned deadly.

The water park was part of Rockford’s Clocktower Resort, which was completely torn down in 2019. The building that housed the water park is still standing.
