How easy is the CPC Module 4?

How long is CPC Module 4?
The CPC Module 4 assessment takes 30 minutes to complete. Your examiner will expect you to explain your reasons for certain actions. They will also ask you to demonstrate these actions in practice where possible.
What is the pass mark for CPC Module 4?
The test is made up of 5 topics from the Driver CPC syllabus. You can score up to 20 points for each topic. To pass you have to score at least 15 out of 20 in each topic area and have an overall score of at least 80 out of 100.

Can I do my CPC before I pass my test?
You can book the part 1 theory test of the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence ( CPC ) as soon as you’ve got your provisional licence. It does not matter which one you take first but you need to pass both within 2 years of each other to get your theory test certificate.

Can I drive without CPC card?
Driving without your card You must carry your Driver CPC card while driving an HGV , bus or coach professionally. You can drive without it if you’ve passed the tests and you’re waiting for it to arrive.
Can I drive without a CPC card?
If the periodic training has been undertaken and the driver is waiting for the Driver CPC card to arrive, the driver can still drive professionally and will not be fined for not having it with them. Driving professionally without Driver CPC is illegal and may incur a fine of up to £1000.
